Nanda Re about this track:
“Earth Spirit is the musical realization of a dream that I had at the home of a Shaman friend of mine in 1995, following an evening of meditation:
I dreamt of a great, unadorned, white sacred building which housed a spacious flight of stairs that was flooded with light shining from above. On each floor were temples, houses of worship and the church facilities of diverse religions and of mystical groups.
As a compositional approach to “Earth Spirit”, I imagined the mix of sounds from the various prayers coming together as a harmonic conglomerate on the staircase of that temple. All of them calling out in peaceful, liberated coexistence to the same god – with different names."
